In its statement, the agency thanked HIDDEN KARD (the fandom) for years of unwavering support, and stressed the decision was reached together with all four members.
Nearly a decade after debut, it’s a farewell on their own terms — and a fittingly unconventional exit for a group that never fit K-pop’s usual mold.
Who Are KARD?
KARD debuted on July 19, 2017 with the EP Hola Hola, after a pre-debut run of three project singles (“Oh NaNa,” “Don’t Recall,” “RUMOR”) that went viral overseas before the group even officially existed. As a four-member co-ed group — two men, two women — they were an anomaly in modern K-pop, and they turned that rarity into a global touring career, especially across the Americas.
